Pleasant View Orchard Indiana

U-Pick Apples

A trip to Pleasant View Orchard to pick-your-own apples is an experience that will bring lasting memories for your entire family.  It has become a family tradition for many.  With more than 40 acres of apple trees consisting of over 20 varieties to choose from throughout the growing season, Pleasant View Orchard is a great destination for a day of family fun.

U-Pick apples are available every day from about early August through the end of October.  Availability dates are approximate as dates can vary from year to year depending on the weather.  Please check our Home Page under News & Special Dates at the bottom of the page for apple varieties currently available.

Instructions for Picking Your Own Apples:

  1. You must purchase a Pleasant View Orchard bag before picking apples and pick only into our bags.  Bags range in size from ½ peck to ½ bushel.

  2. No driving in the orchard.  We do encourage you to bring along a wagon to help with your children and apples.

  3. No climbing the trees.  We don’t want anyone to be injured and this can also harm the trees.

  4. The use of ladders is not permitted.

All apples store best when refrigerated.

*U-Pick will begin early August with Zestar!  Availability dates are approximate as dates can vary each year depending on the weather.  Please check our Home Page under News & Special Dates at the bottom of the page for apple varieties currently available.
